Description

This painting for a commission I did for a client, They really liked oposums. The painting was based around a childhood memory. I grew up in the coutry and loved animals,. After my 10th birthday I had a like trap and placed a piece of my leftover birthday cake in it and set it in the woods. The next day I had caught a opossum which i released after observing him for a few minutes. So the painting is depicting a young opossum being encouraged by his little frog friend to try and get the cake even though it has a noose at the bottom and is obviously a trap.
